The name given to me is, Rachel. Rachel Raymond is my full name. Most of the remarks I get when introducing myself to people while traveling are: But you are not English|Are you English?|Is your dad English?|It can’t be pronounce like that.|How come you don’t have a Malaysian name?|
Something not everybody knows about me. My native name is Ubung. (Rachel Ubung Raymond.) Suppose to be my official name but my mum didn’t register it in my birth certificate. 
It is my grandma’s name in fact. (Dad’s mum)
In Hebrew, Rachel means Ewe or Lamb.
Coming from Sarawak, Malaysia (Borneo), both my parents are from different tribes. My dad is from the Kayan Tribe and my mum is from the Kelabit Tribe. I speak only 50% of each tribe language, unfortunately. Normally we will use either language as a secret language to hide things from our mum OR dad. They both of course speak their own language well but they don’t understand each others language too much. 
I have 2 brothers (Nigel and Jason) and 1 sister (Jenna).

I try to live a simple life as I could and I try to live to the moment as much as I can. I have no time to turn back and regret the things I did or I didn’t do or could have done, because I try to give it my all in all I do. Joy, happiness, sadness, sorrow…. all will pass and what matter the most is, the present.
So this blog is about me living the present as much as I can in my own capability with the help of others around me. Bless them.
